As a wife and parent, there’s only so much time I can devote to the Internet. As much as I have loved working with iTorrie over the years, I feel the time has come to move on. In the time that this site has been online, I have gotten to personally know Torrie and meet some amazing fellow fans along the way and for that I’m so grateful. Torrie is an inspirational person and I’m so proud to have gotten to know her and will always continue to admire her.
I have neglected this site for a long time but I’ve never really had the courage to let go. I want this site to remain open for Torrie and her fans across the ‘net for years to come. With Torrie closing the wrestling chapter of her life, I feel now would be a good time to make some changes for this site. I had always planned to one day come back to working on iTorrie, turning into a tribute of sorts to Torrie’s career while updating with the latest news etc. But like I say, I only have so much time to devote to the Internet and I’ve found that other projects occupy that time more.
So rather than close the site completely or neglect it any longer, I feel the best thing to do would be to pass the site into the care of someone else. If you would like to enquire about purchasing iTorrie, please feel free to e-mail me at melanie.adler@gmail.com with your offers. Serious inquiries only please. Included in the sale will be the rights to the domain name and hosting as well as all the content on the website.
And to the visitors and Torrie herself, thank you for everything. This site has been my crowning glory on the Internet, I’m so proud of everything this site has accomplished and I thank you all for your support. But it’s time to try on a different hat now. You can still find me at Diva Dirt or feel free to e-mail me and say ‘Hi’!

I’m not usually one to purchase shoot interviews or DVDs of the wrestling variety at all for that matter. I guess I’m satisfied (or less satisfied) with what I see on TV and online, so have never felt the need to go out of my way to buy a WrestleMania DVD or anything. As a consumer, I’m very particular about the products I buy - case in point - I haven’t bought a CD in nearly 10 years until last November, when Leona Lewis released her debut album ‘Spirit’. But when I found out that my favourite Diva of all time, Torrie Wilson had her own shoot interview in the works, I placed an order immediately. To me, you’ve got to really admire the person to want to buy their product. Having watched the DVD in full earlier today, it brought back many memories. Torrie is the first and only Diva who I’ve ever felt a real profound connection to, enough so to want to purchase this shoot. Hearing her talk about her career for the first time like this, it took me back to where I was when such-and-such happened or remembering updating my now neglected fansite with such news. The one and a half hour long shoot and the “face-off” between Torrie and Dawn that follows it, was a great watch for me as an avid Torrie fan but even I felt a little unsatisfied. Continue…
Thanks to the folks at RF Video for letting us know that their shoot interview with Torrie Wilson is now available for purchase on their site! It’s been just one month since the interview was filmed at the Wrestler’s Rescue event in September but the DVD is already on sale! If you ask me, this is a must have for any Torrie fan or any fan of the ‘golden age’ of Divas. I’m certainly looking forward to getting my copy in the mail!
You can purchase the DVD for $20 or $35 for an autographed DVD. Check out more details below:
Torrie Wilson, one of wrestling’s most beautiful divas sat down with RF VIDEO to conduct her first ever shoot interview! For the first time ever you will get a chance to understand the girl that lies beneath the makeup, glitz, and glamour as Torrie walked us through her entire career.
Coming into wrestling from a background of fitness competitions and modeling, Torrie described what it took to be successful in those arenas and compared them to the grueling world of professional wrestling. Going straight into the WCW madhouse, Torrie was around all the big names and controversial events and was more than willing to share her thoughts on all of them. Vince Russo. Eric Bischoff. Hulk Hogan. Randy Savage. Scott Steiner. Kevin Nash. Ric Flair. David Flair. Eddie Guerrero. Shane Douglas. The names and stories come fast and furious. We asked Torrie about the rumors of Kimberley Page being jealous of other girls’ success. Who helped her the most? What were the politics like? How hard was it being a women in such a testosterone filled workplace? How did her romance with Billy Kidman start? We also got Torrie’s reactions to some of the crazy gimmick matches she was a part of, including being in a cage and on top of a scaffold.
Torrie talked about her transition to the WWE and what type of impressions all the Superstars made upon her. Trish Stratus. Vince McMahon. Stacy Kiebler. Tajiri. Dawn Marie. Al Snow. Kurt Angle. Nidia. The Undertaker. Jamie Noble. Sable. Billy Gunn. Triple H. Stephanie McMahon. Carlito. Every major angle and storyline is covered. We asked Torrie point blank about how her family felt about her being in Playboy as well as how it changed her life. Torrie was there to see the fight between Booker T and Batista and gave us her reaction. The shoot also became very emotional when the subject of Chris Benoit came up. This is one DVD where you’ll get an interesting comparison between the workings of WCW and WWE from someone who was in both companies during some truly remarkable times.
As an exciting bonus, we’ve also included a mini edition of FACE OFF with Torrie Wilson and Dawn Marie! That’s right, you’ll also getting a bunch of behind the scene stories by two of wrestling’s most well remembered females as they sat together and answered questions about their shared time in WWE. Their favorite angles. Their favorite matches. Their favorite Vince McMahon stories and much, much more. A truly fun segment!
You can pick up the DVD by clicking here. There you can also read the questions asked to Torrie! I’ll be writing up a review as soon as I get my DVD!
Finally something new to report! Check out this gorgeous new Torrie photoshoot, her first post-WWE shoot! Unfortunately, the gallery is acting up so you can check out all the pictures at our sister site, Diva Dirt, by clicking here.

Torrie updated her MySpace a little while ago, read below:
What up?!
Hey! Yes, I know it’s been too long since my last blog and I have been hearing about it! Gosh, where do I start? Well, since I last spoke to you all I went to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico and had a great time until day 3 when ended up in the hospital acting all crazy! I had gotten a really bad virus or something and finished my trip in the good ole Mexican hospital! Not exactly where anyone wants to be going to the hospital but thankfully I made it out ok and flew home. I didn’t shake the darn bug for 3 more weeks after that! …I couldn’t even eat and got wayyy too skinny! That’s all behind me now though and I am feeling great!
My back is healing well after surgery and I have started working out again and I couldn’t be more happy! I guess I am one of those weird creatures that really LOVES to workout and it has been so hard to stay out of the gym the past 4 months. (YIKES!) I actually cried the first day I went back to the gym because I couldn’t believe how much strength I lost and felt like I lost everything I have worked so hard for…but heck there are people out there that have it wayyy worse than me so I definately won’t complain! I have since been just working super hard to get into the best shape of my life. Slowly but surely!
My store is doing so good and we are in the process of building the inside of our new, bigger store now. It’s so exciting to see something you have worked so hard for really happening and it’s just proof that you can do anything you want if you work hard enough!
WWE was in town a few weeks back and some of the girls stayed with me and we got to drink wine all night and talk about how I used to beat Victoria’s ass all the time. Well, that is the way I remember it anyway(-: Ha!
One of my brother’s, Travis, was just here visiting me and a bunch of us went to Austin to float the river and it was so much fun! I definately recommend doing that if you are ever in Austin. 6th street is also just crazy at night!
Got some other interesting stuff going on that I am so excited about but can’t tell you yet…I promise you will be the first one’s I tell when I am allowed though!
Former WWE Diva, Dawn Marie commented on the infamous storyline with Torrie and Al Wilson in her latest interview and it’s very interesting. Read below:
One subject that James Guttman had to ask about was working with Al Wilson. Most outsiders who come in to WWE for a storyline wind up with past ClubWWI.com guests Rikishi or Mae Young sitting on their face.Al won the one-shot lottery and got to marry Dawn.He asks what it was like working with Torrie’s dad.
“It was a great experience.Al was such a great sport, wasn’t he?…When we were first talking about the storyline, they went to Torrie and they asked her, ‘Would you rather us hire an actor or would you rather we bring your father in – your real father?’And she thought it would be a great opportunity to be able to have her real father come in.On the road you’re away so much and I think that’s what gave us such a great twist was that it was her real father. And just the surprised looks. There’s nothing like seeing your real father doing what he was doing.”
Dawn Marie goes on to speak about setting some of the spots up, the embarrassment she had around Torrie afterwards, what the boys said about it, and more.James then asks about the angle’s abrupt end.It seemed almost unfinished and there were a number of different directions people thought it could go in.Dawn answered:
“I think it was supposed to go further and to be honest with you, I think someone pissed somebody off and it just got ended.”
Dawn explains that she doesn’t know the truth, but she thought that’s the most likely reason for it to end as it did.She then reveals that at one point she knew they were contemplating bringing in Torrie’s sister for the angle too and doing a follow-up story centered around the inheritance.
She says she’s not sure who pissed someone off, but someone did.Guttman talks about the amount of people involved with writing the stories and it’s hard to pinpoint who causes its downfall at times.Dawn takes a guess at it:
“I know Paul Heyman had a lot to do with that angle and I’m sure he probably pissed somebody off or I pissed somebody off.I’m sure it was either me or him. (laughs) That’s about as honest as I can get.It just ended too abruptly for it to be any other reason.”
